I am so sorry for not updating. I had a competition this weekend in Montreal and forgot my computer plug at home. Not so smart of me. Anyways, Thursday night I will have more to say and not so stressed out after all these tests.
But just to let everyone know I LOST 4LBS!!!!

One thing I am trying to live without....

Day 2
Hey Everyone....
So the 2nd day.... very very interesting. Well I had to do prep for my marketing competition this week so sitting in a room for 3 hours it was stressful and I wanted to eat but I didn't : )!
Meals
Breakfast - Eggs, a tiny pancake and sausage ( I woke up late this morning and today at school there was a free breakfast, so i took it and ran, not a good choice but tomorrow will be better)
Lunch - A veggie sub on brown bread
Dinner - Pan fried tofu, with steamed veggies (yellow and green pepper, tomatoes, red onion, mushrooms) with light soy sauce and a little bit of brown sugar to sweeten the taste to dress the tofu. And steamed spinach with browned garlic on top.
Drank lots of water, lots and lots of water....
Workout
Today I didn't go to the gym but worked out at home...
45 mins of boxing (best to do it when watching your favourite show)
15 mins of skipping rope
25 mins of stretching and stability ball
Workout today was amazing! I was more focus and determine than I thought I would have been working out at home. But I did do things that I really did enjoy. Food of course I am working on, so it would have to be 5 out of 10. More fruits tomorrow.
For best results... I should be getting 8 hours of sleep but I think its going to be 6 hours tonight.

Day 1
Day 1...
Current weight: 178lbs
Desired weight: 133lbs - 135lbs
Current Sizes: 10 - 12
Desired Sizes: 5 - 7
Main Areas of improvement: Arms, Stomach and Stability
Personally, having people know my weight really scares me, this is really hard for me. However, this is a motivation for me to see a change in myself. I could give you all the excuses in the world of why I gained all this weight and blame it on others. But I am not. I am just going to do something about it.
Meals:
Breakfast - yogurt with berries and oatmeal
Fresh Berries |
Lunch - pasta with chicken, zucchini, red peppers and red onion (it was white pasta, whole wheat is better)
Snack - apple and berries
Coffee, lots of water and cranberry juice
Dinner - Spinach salad with red onion, yellow and red peppers, tomato and flex seeds, dressed with oil and a teaspoon of salad dressing (next time just oil and apple cider vinegar)
I would have to say that my meal choices today was a 6 out of 10. It will take me awhile to make a strong meal plan that works for me in taste and portions. I love food but good food can be healthy too!
Workout:
40 mins of Cardio (30 mins on the treadmill and 10 mins bike)
30 mins on Weights focusing on arms ( sets of consist of 8 reps of 30 - 40lbs)
Workout today was really good, burned 350 calories on the treadmill and bike. I am a little sore but I will get use to it.
So every Monday keep posted for new results in loss weight. And come back tomorrow to know how day 2 went!

A New Start....
Hey,
My name is Jaleesa Huggins. I have given myself a new challenge in my life.... to lose 45 lbs! I have given myself this challenge because I want to live a long and healthy life. I have to start some time, so why not now?
I will be officially starting the weight loss challenge on Monday, February 7th, 2011. Over the next few months (however long it takes) I will be posting exercises, weekly eating schedules, recipes and updating always about my progress and changes.
I hope through this blog, I will be able to communicate with other people either looking to face the same challenge or provide some motivation.
So check in tomorrow for my current info, and how the first day went.
